I saw this great show on the History Channel last night on the Autobahn! Going 140 is safer than going 55. I'm heading to the Autobahn...I have to drive that road:thumbsup :Graucho

I agree but I keep getting fanmail from the cops way to often lol Guess they don't like it when I use the dutch freeway as an autobahn ;)

I made it a couple of time 260 km/h (245 real km's according to my GPS) when I drove back from Vienna this week. Most of the time there is too much traffic on the Autobahn though. And everybody drives on the left, passing trucks. Best time to drive there is Sunday morning 1 am - 7 am :thumbsup

I wish our congress would watch that show..

Do you have the 225hp Audi TT? Because I drove the 180hp flat out in germany and I got 240 on the odometer at max...

I miss Germany sometimes...

In general I found German drivers to be MUCH more polite and 'with it' than anywhere else...passing lanes for PASSINg not for fucking driving 55 mph when everyone else is like here in the US...we have some seriously fucked up drivers...only places worse for driving than the US that I found were in Korea & Saudi...


Italians were crazy, but predictable at least...

I think that was for tailgating..they are very harsh about that in Germany and they base the fine on your income.

I would love for some person of "authority" to do a full investigation into how many accidents are actually caused by SLOW drivers

nothign worse than a slow driver - half the time it's coz they are too old to know what the fuck they are doing

they cause accidents because ppl are tryign to get around them , and they give peopel road rage too

fuck slow drivers - probably my BIGGEST pet hate in life :321GFY

I hate tailgaters... nothing like going already way above speed limit to still have an SUV tailing me.
