The art is great, but often these guys who make these things plant them on walls of property unwanted...
|
wow, that is some sick shit! I wonder how many hours each took..
|
When guys are that caliber their shit is usually done legit I think.
|
My ten year old son can draw some really cool looking stuff, especially cars. I keep telling him to get me twelve that look kick ass and we'll make a calendar and sell it, lol.
I wish I had some artistic talent, but all mine lies in writing. Those are some killer pics, I'd love to see more. |
Thats nice...if I owned a store or something and there were no zoning laws against it I'd hire guys like that do to my walls.
However I think all taggers should have their hands removed. I find it sad that most taggers live in poorer communities and spend their days trashing up their communities with their bullshit tags. It's almost as if they enjoy living in a dump...no respect for themselves, their neighbors or their community. |
holy fuck, awesome! :thumbsup
|
|
ya those are some really nice bombs
|
are they representin the anime-transformers gang?
|
The daim 3D style of graf has always been a favorite of mine but i still really like old FX crew CES/Cope style pieces.

i hope the work is commissioned, and the guy does have talent. but as a landlord in latino neighborhoods i've had to repaint the sides of lots of buildings only to have some asswipe put his mark on it a week later. there is a reason rodeo drive has higher property values than east LA. it has to do with the actions of the people in the area. nothing lowers property value better than random graffiti. nothing. someday some of you kids will own real estate, then you'll understand. |

Skem2:
GRAFFITI: History and Style-Definition 3D is a completely different style. There are no traditional outlines and the division between the planes are by shadows. Although almost every style can be illustrated in that way there are only a few writers who use 3D. This style is very controvential. Some say that it is the highest level of writer¹s development, while others claim that those who paint 3D are rather artists not writers. Generally, especially this style was developed in Europe in the 90's thanks to such names as DELTA, DAIM, LOOMIT and NECK. Full Story If you want more real graffit Get the DVD .. .WildStyles is from 80's is has the history of graff! |
Awesome...I wish I had talent like that. Can someone explain to me what a piece book is?

Shit and I thought my boys had skills, that is fucking awesome.

shit that is way cool!

a piece book is a sketch book that a lot of writers carry with them to draw and practice in.
many "writers" have very impressive piece books, but few can transfer the clean lines and such into full on pieces on walls. this ability is called "can control". it takes a long time to learn and is expensive, spray aint cheap. and in some places very hard to purchase ie: they wont sell it to minors in a lot of areas. some places tape record the spray aisle in the store as well. |
That is some real artistic talent. Some buildings and walls could really do with some colour like that!
