I am so glad Iraq and America are safer than we were. Thank you, Mr. President.:(

what are you going to do about it

KRL 07-29-2004 06:41 AM

Yeh and the other 24,999,876 people in Iraq had another day of freedom.

You have to look at the whole picture not just the pixels.

Just think in the United States today about 5,000 people will be victims of a violent crime, murder, or rape. 5,000 a day. Think about it.

Violence and death are everywhere. The media is just making isolated inicidents stand out on the news for drama and ratings and content.

Wake up and smell the coffee. The reality is most people in Iraq are happier now without Saddam hanging over their heads.

People die of other causes in Iraq, too. These numbers are on TOP of that. There were no suicide bombers in Iraq before the war. At this rate the number of people blown up could eventually exceed those Sadaam's henchmen killed.

I won't even pretend to say that Iraq isn't better off without Sadaam, but at the price? If we were going to sacrifice hundreds of billions of $ and thousands of lives we could have used them up more effectively.

Yep, I agree. It's turned into a horror story that will end up being nothing less than unforgivable. :(

You are a terrorist!!!!

He said: " The world is a much safer place " ....

BTW, ask yourself that question:

Do you really beleive that you are safer NOW than before 9/11 ??? ( like: going to the mall, traveling abroad, boarding planes, ...)

If you sincerely answer YES, then vote for Bush; otherwise , vote for Kerry.

That sucks, but all this beheading shit is really starting to get REALLY old. KRL made a very good point as well, media is really giving this whole thing more hype than it deserves.:2 cents:

only because each time the issue is raised it gives the bush bashers a chance to say how evil they think he is.

I don't personally feel less safe today but I would if I lived closer to the city. My closest concern is Bourbon Street the weekend before and leading up to Mardi Gras when people are packed like sardines all the way down the street. There are streets that intersect where cars work their way through the crowd and someone could also hide whatever in a costume and never be noticed until too late. Someone in a top floor motel room could easily have access to about 1-2000 people at a time.

I guess I'll be voting Kerry for Bourbon Street:thumbsup :glugglug
