How long were you guys at this before you got your first sale?

about 2 weeks

First used pay per click. Can't remember how long it took for a first sale. Sometime within the first few days.

it took me 3 weeks

Don't remember it was over 2 years ago.

Can't remember :-/ Too long ago... But I started with pay per click.

It took me about the same (just got my first sale a few days ago, and my second yesterday).
I've only built a handful of AVS sites. I haven't gotten into galleries b/c I don't have anything to invest in hosting right now, and I don't want to take advantage of the hosting I have from a barter with someone.

A week or so.. then when I started AVS I got 3 on the first day. :1orglaugh Whoopy!

Couple of days as well for me.

i think it took me about a month

1 week, but that was back in 1997 where a normal person would have a signup after 1 day

first sale came very fast,the 2nd was the one i had to wait for 2 weeks :Graucho

About ~3 weeks, I used Nastydollars gallery generator to make galleries and I posted them to ~9 big TGPs.
Probably 1 of them accepted the galleries :1orglaugh

few months

used per click programs for a while before i tried pps. it was hard to get listed on link lists while hosted on tripod :winkwink:

I think it was a month or so.

Yeah thats how it was for me... I got home, and seen that I had my first sale, so I'm thinking " okay here we go! I'm gona make some money! " and like 2 weeks later I made my second fucking sale :1orglaugh

What's a sale?

It was years ago, but min ecame within the first week. I remember cause it came on a streak of 6 sales in a row.

That made me build more and it took 3 weeks to get another sale :)

I got mine after a few days with TCG, that was a long long time ago.

About 2 days with Nasty Dollars.

lol, still waiting. In fairness tho I ahve not yet launched Khundawgs officially.

First day I started submitting galleries, I got a sale.

I had the leverage though, since I have naturally good design skills.
