Two Boots (Or Two Boots To Go Go)
http://www.twoboots.com/ Best farking pizza in the world. Rays is good too. Safe. It's classic NYC Pizza, big slices, greasy. |
Totonno Pizzeria Napolitano
1524 Neptune Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11224 (718) 372-8606 Zagat rated, take my world for it, this place will be the best pizza you ever had, and it's in Brooklyn. |
i luv pizza...good shit! Never had it from new york though :(
|
Two Boots is good. If you're in Brooklyn, check out Lenny's at 16th and 5th
|
Pizza Hut : the original ! :D
|
Di Fara
3 cheese pizza is his standard Old guy from Italy still making the pies one by one Ave J + E 15 Brooklyn, NY My #1 - NYC spot <period> |
ray's aint that great:(
stick to any of the smaller mom and pop pizzerias and you'll do good. and don't buy the pizza if a non-italian is working the oven |
Ray's is shit, no better than Domino's.
Nino's is good for a slice of white pie, on 8th & Ave B Rosario's is good for a cheeze slice, forget the exact addy, around Ludlow area. |
|
I'll add it to the places of interest list for my next NYC visit, thanks :)
|
NewPark Pizza
CrossBay Blvd Howard Beach Queens Its been there since 1955 Great regular slices but their Sicilian slices are not the best. |
I'm gonna have to go with Two Boots over by St Vincents as well!!
I do love Rays, and I do love all the mom and pop shops, but Two Boots is the shit! |
gotta write these down for my next visit
|
man this thread is making me hungry
|
No one mentioned John's on Bleeker St in the Village
Thats my favorite. The only problem is they only sell by the pie. No slices. Spankstrocko |
Its all better than anywhere else in the world.
|
nobody mentioned Grimaldi's...hands down one of the best and most famous - it's in brooklyn, under the manhattan and brooklyn bridge, F train to the York Street stop.
if your gonna try Ray's...they are all chains now..they've been bougtt out by some greeks...but the best original Ray's still stnads and it's in the city near NoHo...just above little italy...i think it's on price or elizabeth street. right near a little hot spot called cafe habana .. tons of hot chicks hang out there! |
kman,
walk into any local pizzeria and it should be good.. granted there are always exceptions, but for the most part, all the pizza and italian restaurants are very good in their own right.. and do things differently to give it a different, but usually good taste. |

You might also want to try Angelo's Pizza. 57th Street between 6th and 7th Ave.
117 W 57TH St New York, NY 10019-2209 Phone: (212) 333-4333 And if you are in the neighbourhood and you want to have the absolute best buger in your life go to the Burger Joint. It's in the lobby of the Le'Parker Meridean hotel (just across the street from Angelo's). You go into the lobby and stand infront of the front-desk. All the way at the end of the front-desk to the right there will be a passageway that will lead you to the back. There's a neon burger on the wall. That's where you'll find the best burger in the city. |
