Hospital errors 6th leading cause of death in the US

A lawyer friend sent me the article above with this comment:

THIS is why mal-practice insurance rates are so high, not frivilous
lawsuits. Of course, if hospitals couldn't be sued at all, which is what they would like, they could kill patients with no fear of ANY recourse.

People do make mistakes and with nurses having to work double triple shifts I bet accidents happen.

I have a healthcare business. Tell me about. Hospitals are fucked up. You wouldn't believe how upside down they are and we deal with administrators. Some nurses they put on the floor are totally new and incompetent. Plus they overwork staff like crazy.

Would you like to have surgery on your heart performed by a doctor who hasn't slept for 36 hours?

Doctor's and Hospital's make errors all the time. They try to cover a lot of them up so that you do not find out about them but there are also the ones that you are well aware of too.

One time my brother was undergoing dialysis and they forgot to empty out the formaldehyde and basically embombed my brother alive. I have also seen hospital's try to feed a diabetic pure sugar. These are only a handful of the mistakes I have personally seen made.

And you think it's better in other Western countries?

Think again.
