Lets face it.........Rocco ended up being a media whore, more interested in getting his picture taking with lovely ladies than doing any actual work. Kudos to Jeffrey Chodorow, the owner who had to put up with Rocco's shit. Anyone who watched "The Restaurant" regularily can attest to this.

holy shit, I was a big fan of that show

didn't know it was *THAT* serious...

that dude started off nice with his attitude, but the minute he figured out that he could get in front of cameras any time he wanted, he split from the restaurant and became a media whore (like you said)

he deserves to be banned from his own restaurant

oh it got real fuckin' serious, bigtime............like I said, Jeffrey was unbelievably patient with the whole deal, even as Rocco neglected it hardcore and it lost piles of money.........

good for Jeffrey to take back control.

the thing is, why on earth will he sell the restaurant?

he obviously knows the business but it seems as if with a few minor adjustments the restaurant could be making serious money in no-time...

Cool. Rocco seemed like the ultimate cheesemeister anyway. All hype with no backup.

I found Rocco to be a dick which made the TV show interesting actually. If everything ran smooth the show would of been very fucking boring but who knows how he is in real life the moment a camera crew is there its not reality. I think its hard to be effective as a partner if you have no money in the game. Rocco got paid $175,000 a year, that makes one very unhungry. Its a shame he had the opportunity to become huge like Emeril and his ego fucked it up for him.

It's a shame. The food was great, and I really did enjoy the service as well. Everyone was very nice.. Even mama!

Not all chefs are cut out to own a restaurant. A friend of mine went to CIA (Culinary Institute of America) and said he skated by in the business part of classes. He liked to cook, and it turns out he spent all that money to be an employee for life. Those who pass the business part with flying colors, usually skate by with sub-par cooking. Only a small few do well in both...

restaurants very rarely run smoothly....i was a chef for almost 6 years....they may look like they are running smoothly, but there is drama (enough for reality tv) every night

yea I loved this show too missed the last few episodes due to the fact they moved the night and didnt tell anyone.

I was watching cnbc earlier today and I saw that they are running reruns of the 1 and 2nd seasons on cnbc at 8pm est and 11est I think every night. good deal

man I thought I was the only one who really liked that show, judging by how it got moved around and then finally turfed.........good to see others enjoyed the storylines and the drama.........i thought that one waitress who got terminated near the end of last season was really hot........she was the novice who really did suck at her job and kept messing up orders......but she was very pretty

Rocco came off like sorta of a pussy to me actually. Afraid of doing his job. It got to the point where he wouldnt even walk up to the place unless he had a "crutch", such as talking on the cell phone and trying to act nonchalant.
Blah, good riddance.

Agreed. He kept trying to paint Jeffrey as the trouble maker, but it's hard to argue when the guy's made all his restaurants successful except yours.

From the first show it was clear Rocco had zero business sense.

I loved it when Jeffrey and his crew were looking at other chefs and were laughing if one they liked had a name that started with an "R" so they wouldn't have to get new plates! :1orglaugh

But it was a fun show. :)

He was hardly ever there, Sarah, and it fell apart, and when he was there, he was too busy being a media whore to do any work........then he'd be out the door.
