I thought it was a great speech.

He is the only first generation African-American in US politics - his father was from Kenya.

When he stood for state senate he was given very little chance of being elected - instead he romped in.

Interesting, he had that foreign look too.

I don't see any resemblance to Martin Luther King Jr's speaking style, except that Obama is effective and black.

He's a Senate candidates for Illinois, and he's got it in the bag - especially since Ryan is basically out of the race now and the GOP is scrambling to find a replacement.

Some people are actually saying he could be our first black president. Though, he does have a long ways to go.
