Do people ask how your day at work was?
I was just sitting here and realized that I often hear Person A ask Person B how their day at work is but Person A never asks me how my day at work is. As if I don't work. Hmm...
Last week I was visiting my family and my aunt didn't seem to understand how I can't go visit more since I'm not tied down by work. Hmm... Funny how it's only considered work if you leave the house and have a boss looking over your shoulder. Oh, and for those interested, my day at work was great today! |
you still work at the headset with built in microphone factory as a beta tester?

I agree wholehartedly. i just had to have a chat with my husband about how I can't have him hanging out in here while I'm trying to work b/c the kids are in and out and he's chitter chattering....He doesn't understand that if he gives me a few solid hours to focus, I would have more time to hang out with him and the fam.

yeah I feel that way alot. I work 100 times harder for myself than I ever did for any company that employed me. When your entire income is based solely on your shoulders, its alot harder than clock in clock out, people who arent in this business dont understand what it takes to survive sometimes.

I find it funny that if you work on a computer some people don't consider it "real work" by their standards. It's hard to explain you have to flex the one muscle most people lack.. :glugglug

Most people aren't able to work without the whipcracking boss so naturally, when they don't see a boss they assume there is no work..
