Free Image Hosting Site


Basic idea is that you offer users a site where they can upload and hotlink there images all day without a watermark or anything like that and an easy to remember url but it works on credits

You get a few pay per click and impression sponsors and give the user X amount of credits for clicking on a banner that pays you X amount per click or whatever or fill out surveys... im sure you get the picture but the credits come into play when they want to upload images


Say it cost X amount of credits to upload an image that is XXkb or so whatever


I dunno just an idea that could make someone a few bucks :):)

Not a bad idea you have there. I like out of the box thinking.

I get crazy idea's all the time i just never have the funds to get a programmer to code it up nor the spare bw this project would take im sure :P

times I wish i was a programmer lol

I don't think it would work...surfers are lazy and they don't want to do anything for free stuff.. Best bet would be make them give you a legit e-mail so you can mail them..

But this would work best as a service for E-bay.. otherwise you would get nothing but kids hosting pics for forums..

if all else fails after and you are losing money, just auto load everyone full off tool bars .. seems to be the going rage..

and ofcourse ... this is not an oringal idea... there are 100's of free upload site's but 90% of them dont allow hotlinking or cut you off at a certant point or watermark your image with there site url

Could the cost cover the bandwidth usage?

Id have to put some figures to this before I would decide.

Eh lots of diffrent people use free image hosting sites for diffrent things

thats where number crunching would come into play... I think i may get numbers down on paper tommrow or this evening.

you can cap the max size of pictures to reduce the bandwith.

thats where the X amount of credits lets you upload a file XXkb :)

the more they make you .. the larger the file they can upload is....

Will work out something about how much b/w they use.


Plus just with there email that can make you money aswell :)
