Can ppl with jobs get off to vote on election day?

they have lunch breaks and i think polling places stay open till like 7 or so anyways.

If they couldnt im sure they could go at lunch break. Im sure they wouldnt want to go during that time. Could be a reason for low votes in some place. But only if this is true.

ppl voting = ppl who dont have to worry about having a job = rich, usually vote republican*

no place is going to give you the entire day off . . . it only takes 10 minutes to vote.

Some companies with union contracts have provisions to give you time off work to vote if your work hours prevent you from being able to vote
