muscle/fitness buffs - simple question
which will allow me to gain more muscle...
doing a full body workout 5 days a week for an hour or concentrating on one or two muslce groups once a week for an hour (obviously i would do different groups each day, and then repeat when the week starts over) |
first option does not seem right.

You are supposed to break it down into upper and lower body and have one full day of rest per week. Muscle is actually built by tearing your muscles..these muscles require time to heal/build.
So what you do is: Mon - Wed - Fri - Upper body Tue - Thurs - Sat - Lower body As long as you NEVER work the same muscle group 2 days in a row you will build muscle. |
