My hardrive crahsed this weekend. The data recovery guy just called and said he can't recover anything. Damn this sucks

i know it sucks big time... got nailed twice already. make sure you get a back up storage, you'll never know when it will hit you again.

Yeah I am going to make sure I do that with this new one. I also need to start keeping some paper files as well

I suggest you to buy another second HDD and backup all the information to this every 12 or 24 hours to prevent this.

If you want to make it more secure, buy another PC and backup this second HDD info into this other machine.

If you want to make it too more secure, but another PC and backup this second PC information......

one word: BACKUP!
