Does anyone know of a program that...
can automate daily tasks?
Kind of like 'Actions" in Photoshop, where you can press record, do what you want it to do, and then save it for a later date? That would be a very helpful program, however I dont think one exists, but you never know... |
Doesn't windows have something like that built in?
I know 98 did haven't tried XP for that yet :) |

When I come back I have my stats, trades, etc all up in the browser. I have various programs starting up, I have ICQ convos. opened up and ready. The list goes on and on. It would be nice to have a program that you can record actions, and play them back with the press of a button. |

This one looks pretty good, though I've never used it. I remember when terminal programs had macros built in.. pretty cool stuff :) |
Use WinTask, it's the best.
Includes its own scriptlanguage and macrorecorder. |
I just spent the last hour and a half searching for a program like this. I found quite a few. However, all of them worked the same way. It would record your mouse movement and clicks.
This isn't a good way. If the program/window that you open, opens up in a different position on the screen, then it will screw up. If only there was a program that would actually record what you click and do, instead of just following your mouse. |

Downloading WinTask...
I like this software idea about his "own" script mode. It can be very practical. |
