What kinda capital did you need to start your business as sponsors?

I was just reminded of Indian Jones so no particular reason at all

well i wouldnt place juicy cash yet amongst epic cash or other bigger sponsors but

Startup for me was

Video Content , design , scripts , templates and all that shit.....

Apples and oranges...Juicy's estimate is good...although I think he gets some discounts others don't...especially in the hosting area. Still...$20k to start one paysite with an affiliate program seems accurate if you use decent content. You can do it on the cheap with no exclusive content for maybe $5k but you will probably have trouble getting affiliates and members.

Epic is not WebPower or Pro Adult I'd guess :1orglaugh :1orglaugh but, they have a fair number of sites.

There are those that have started with less I suspect. If you want it bad enough or can come up with content on the cheap you can do it..

Some start with a Nasty lets say and then break out on their own. Or you struggle for a while and hookup with a bigger fish.

If you don't have the bucks, do free sites or AVS. TGP even.

Can think of some people that have moved around for their own good. POV, Jenn and Nina to name three.

Those are exceptions, cause they were doing their own content. At least to a point.

Don't forget though that Epic has grown. p1mpdogg started with a lot less then 30 sites.

i think Rictor's estimation is more or less accurate. however, if you're beginning with non-exclusive content, i think you can still do it for less. hosting and visa fees will cost a lot more than the content will.

Times have changed too. We didn't always have those visa fees.

A ton of changes appear to be headed our way with elections, COPA efforts (they'll be back), new 2257.......

All that might help make $, but might tend to drive the little guy away?? A shame as America is about free enterprise!! Suppose to be anyway.
