Winzip / Winrar troubles..
 

I want to unzip like 20 zips to folders named after the zips. I can right click then choose that option but nothing happens.

Anyone know how to fix this problem?

its winzip 9, it works one file at a time, but its a pain to do a bunch.

Maybe its because the zips just have files and no folders in side that it has a problem.

Was hoping it was some temp directory somewhere you had to clear that would make it work.

i use winrar, when you click on a file with right mouse click, it lets you decide whether you want to extract in to the same directory or to create new directory with same name as zip/rar file has. internal file structure of a compressed file preserved.

this functionality doesn't come by default, while installing winrar you have to whatch for the button to setup context menu.

never tried unzipping multiple files at once though.
