If so you might want to find a new place to spend your vote this election.

Kerry's platform on www.foxnews.com (Interactive link and proceed) is to raise taxes for people making over $200k a year, while cutting taxes for the remaining people - basically continuing Bushes cuts for the middle class, and raising taxes for the rich. If he had it straight, he could cut taxes for _everyone_ and be alright.

The rich already pay 50% of all taxes in America (Something like the top 3% of earners pay 50% of all taxes)

So, anyone here that likes to enjoy your money, might want to consider this.

Also, raising minimum wage so all the deadbeats cna stay at their deadend job and never try and better themselves. This will also put strain on 60% of all small businesses, preventing them from expanding, and some will even c lose their doors, giving more business to the corporation that libs already hate.

The guy needs a better policy.

I am voting for neither Kerry nor Bush, because neither of them have a policy on Borders, Language, and Culture. I am tired of reading everything in Spanish, hearing spanish, blah blah blah.

Taxes are going to have to go up because Bush has wasted so much money in the last three years on a war for oil and other bullshit.

When a Republican is in office, they waste huge amounts of money, then a Democrat has to come into office and clean up all of the mess that the Republicans made.

Where do reps get their statistics from? How exactly will it prevent 60% of small businesses from expanding? 60, maybe 70 and definitely not 50?

Why the hell would someone pay themselves a salary of 200k a year if you're self employed? Then you have to pay all those taxes on that money? You're better off paying yourself a very modest salary and keep your money in the company. The corporate tax rate is much much lower.

I agree with paying taxes, however I disagree with paying salaries nfor welfare losers, and funding various social programs that do nothing for the majority. Also dont like funding various programs that will eventually lead to the demise of some of our rights such as owning firearms.

What do you think would happen if there was NO welfare? Do you think they are all going to magically get jobs? What would really happen is you'd have even more criminals. (and a criminal costs even more to house and feed then someone on welfare..)

Not true at all. I thought you made a lot of money in this biz, if you do I'd get yourself a new accountant. If you have an S corp then regardless of what your salary is, all net income from your business passes through to your personal tax return and you pay tax on it whether you write yourself a check for the amount or not.

If you have a C corp, you are subject to double taxation, so even at the lower tax bracket for corporate, you'll pay at your regular tax bracket AGAIN as soon as it's distributed to you either through salary or dividend. They will get it from you when you take it out, one way or another.

Doesn't matter how rich you are here in Sweden, you still get to pay up. :glugglug

That's exactly what welfare does. It ensures North America doesn't become a 3rd world nation, avoids revolution, and makes it so that the wealthy don't have to live behind gated estates complete with an army and tanks just to be safe.

That's the least of our problems yet politicians make it an issue, and therefore people think it's an issue. Remember 2% of the population owns something like 98% of the wealth. Much of the power to change in any direction is in their hands.

Because I work longer, smarter & harder with the result that I earn more money than the average joe (working from 9 to 5) means that I should pay more taxes?

What sense does that make. You obviously have no clue about what making money takes. Of course it's easier to get a "normal" jobs without and risks involved. But then again this does not mean I have to get fucked by having tp pay more taxes than you.

people on welfare should be cleaning parks, streets, mowing lawns, shoveling snow, etc.

even if they're only working 20-30 hours a week at least the taxpayers are putting those bums to work

actually, what DH is basically correct....if you make say $100K and are self-employed, you owe social security, unemployment tax, etc., on the whole $100K. if you set up a corp, pay yourself maybe $40K in salary and the rest as a profit sharing distribution, you don't pay the ~9% (as mentioned above) on the remaining $60K, saving you around $5000 per year. i've already discussed this with my accountant and am setting up a S corp. later this year to get this done. :Graucho

jeepers, you people make it sound like no matter how much money you make you still live the same lifestyle as someone on welfare.

You might be taxed more, but you still have a MUCH better life then them and you are living in a great country. If you don't like it, move to the Bahamas and pay no taxes.

I hate paying taxes as much as the next guy, but I also hate paying a cover charge to get into a bar.. but I LIVE with it.. I dont base my decision on where I'm going out for the night on the cover charge.
