just an fyi, a simple card couse counting system will often reduce house edge significantly

i read the book and knew a movie is coming out about those guys but didn't know there was a documentary on TV - i'll have to track it down!

What system did they use?

I'm interested in BlackJack systems - I have run a few craps through a C++ coded simulation and seem some cool results.

Anyone suggest some publically known complex counting systems?

ya that was interesting must of been pretty crazy for the kids that were involved cause most of them looked kinda naive

Dusen - basically what they did is have one person sit at the table and bet small amounts but card count at the same time...once the deck went into their favor, they would signal to one of their team members who would then sit down and bet huge amounts. i highly suggest reading the book - very enjoyable - can't wait for the movie. :thumbsup
