They've got great timing. I just dumped all my funds into my bank account, so they froze $0.00. :) They're still bastards.

if you just cashed out your account and have not ogtten it in your bank yet paypal will not complete the transfer

How much do you guys usually leave in the paypal account before you dump it into your bank...just curious :)

It doesn't cost anything to dump, so I don't let my account get over a couple hundred dollars, usually less.

We'll see. The request was submitted on the 23rd. It's not in my online bank statement yet, but it's not showing as pending in Paypal either. Tomorrow should tell.

I dont use my paypal account as much as I used to anymore

They froze mine on May 26th, I took away 3 pictures they disputed on the same day, signed the papers and they said it will take 3 days to get to me. Today iti si exactly 2 months later: After numerous long phonecalls overseas and 10's of emails, nothing happened yet :(

They should get sued big time. Do I get interest for the money in there?

They closed me stating I used it for an adult website -- I didn't since I have a merchant account -- but my email was that of an adult website. They said 6 weeks and I'd have my money back.

4 days later the check was here.

That didn't work for one of my paypal accounts. Over 500+ transactions/purchases and they still closed it on only 3 adult related transactions.. lmao. Oh well

Paypal could have a nice discrimination suit on their hands at some point. Not processing for adult transactions is one thing, shutting someone down because they are using an adult related domain name in their account is another.

They're not the same thing, and Paypal doesn't seem to see this.

Paypal is a great idea with bad execution. I wonder how much money they lose a year by not doing adult? But just make sure you have a legit email in their eyes and if you do adult transactions make sure there is nothing adult in the items description once it gets to the paypal point. You should be fine.

Paypal used to be cool. Its when ebay bought it that it went to shit. Fuck ebay and their stupid fees too.

I transfer to my bank account when any amount is in my papyal account. $10 or $100, it doesn't matter. Why keep it in your pp account at all?

You want to keep a balance in your account so that people you pay don't get hit with credit card processing fees.

I start getting antsy over 100$, my current balance is 0. I emptied it by sending a payment in advance to someone and his account got closed. Go fig.

They're going for mainstream sites with even slightly adult content nowadays, say you have a webcomic with nudity - slap. It's not just porn mongers anymore. And at least we know about it, many people I know who had their acc. closed didn't even know it could happen...

It's hard to believe people here are still using PayPal after all the bad press they've been receiving, if only on websites and forums...

I never leave money in my PayPal account. Why would I want it there when I could just transfer it to my bank account right away?
