How do you think I should handle this?
 

I would like some advice.
I found a group on MSN that is basically a fan club for me. That part is cool.
The part that I don't like is that this group has over 600 pictures of me on it. It wouldn't really bother me if they maxed out at 100 pics, but 600 is a bit much.
How do you think I should handle this? Should I try emailing the group owner and ask him to take most of the pictures down? Or what?

You can always contact MSN and ask them to notify them so you don't have to get directly involved.

Yes they do.
And usually I don't mind if someone has posted my pics if the URL is on the picture. Cuz I see it as free advertising, but 600 pics on one group is WAYYYYY too many.

I would email the group owner and try to work out a way to monetize all the traffic. Fans are fans, they will find it one way or the other, may as well work with the existing traffic base to make additional sales.

Perhaps only watermarked photos only, or a prominent link to your site etc in exchange for not getting shut down.

They obviously love you and would do almost anything you request... most of them would probably get all hot just seeing you post in the room....

Thats a good idea... take advantage of it. Use it as a free advertising base.

It's strange. They have a banner linked to my site. The group owner also says my site's name. But he has over 600 pics and says feel free to contribute. I appreciate the fans and the links, but way too many pics. That's my problem.

email the leader of the group and tell them that you could easly shut them down but you dont want to do that. instead you want to help.

get them on your side and you have a premade fanclub wanting to buy your stuff.

youll make more in the long run if you get involved. and if you raise a really big stink about it, who knows. odds are youll lose some of those fans.

I would take some exclusive pics just for them and give them to them. Maybe make some signs saying "I Love (msn club name)"
