Quick 2257 questions...

1. Does the new regulations affect people outside the us?

2. If no to question one, do I need to host outside us in order to get around these stupid regulations?

The important thing is that your company be offshore. It is perfectly legal to buy US hosting if your are outside the US. Hosting is cheapest here.

Whoever said a lawyer will make things clear is DEAD WRONG - talk to three lawyers and see if they all arive at the same conclusion. I know they won't - I've been there already.

So does reading. The proposed regs are pretty straight forward. There were only 2 areas that I was slightly unclear on.

But then again....I have no problems comprehending the English language...Even when written in legalese.
