whats your preference in tuned and/or muscle cars

would you rather spend 50k on a new foreign car and turbo the hell out of it?

or

spend 50k on an old muscle car and bore that fucker?

don't post in here how you'd rather just spend 100k+ on an exotic. this is about working engines and burning rubber on pavement, not about stroking your ego

I don't have enough disposable income yet to buy a 3rd car just as a toy, but when I do, this will be the one ..

MrIzzz 07-25-2004 01:13 PM

American Muscle!

1970 Trans Am 455 Super Duty!

i am getting goosebumps just thinking about it!

Jdoughs 07-25-2004 01:17 PM

I picked up a 59 Ranchero with a 428 in it.

The engines finished but i got a winter of "frame of the body" work to be completed befor i start eating up 5.0 mustangs, or anything else in my town for that reason.

PenetratinP 07-25-2004 01:27 PM

I like having a sleeper. My car is 240hp 280 torque stock...I've got intake, exhaust, and a cooler t-stat. I'm getting a smaller supercharger pulley soon for $70, which would give me 30 more hp.

A lot of guys on the Grand Prix message board have 13, 12, and 11 second cars. There are even a couple of 10 second cars...I shit you not.

thanx - I'm in Weston FL, which is north of Miami, west of Ft. laud and south of Boca Raton.

The houses are all cookie cutter houses but I love the designs of brand new south Florida homes.

I can't stand old houses with obsolete design elements like tiny closets in the master bedroom.
