Back Support and care whilst werkin
 
I went and bought a decent chair? Is this the only thing you can do to save your back from long hours on the idiot box?
I dont know...was just wondering if there are somthings that other people find works for them to improve posture when werkin long hours...:helpme

the trouble with something new is, you're gonna hurt from it at first, any change does that

one thing I think is really important is that your upper legs be straight out from your body when you're resting your feet on the floor, perpendicular .. this rests the weight evenly on your butt and and legs in the chair

And make sure your monitor and keyboard are at the proper height. Elbows should be at 90degrees and knees should be too.

Also don't work for too long. I try to get up and stretch and do something other than sit at my desk every two hours.

I've been in physical therapy and I'm finding that core pilates exercises is really helping with my back pain. I'm stronger in that lower back area and it's helping keep the pain easier.

Thank you both for the advice and I am working on all suggestions...If I dont start to take care of this problem early its gonna fuck me over I just know it...thanks again :thumbsup

I got one of those chair vibrating things. Got 3 regions, upper back, mid, and lower. And heated :)

Keeps me relaxed for the most part. :thumbsup
