in need of a message forum program

Anyone know where i can get my hands on either a free or inexpensive PHP coded message board program that i can host on my own server? i did a search on google. and all they pretty much listed was 3rd party message boards.

I have used both invision and vbulletin. I favor vbulletin and that is what I currently use on a high-traffic mainstream board.
