About 1,500 people were lined up outside Apple's store in Tokyo's Ginza district before the store opened at 10 a.m. Tens of thousands of the devices have already reportedly been reserved by customers.

I'm never one of the first to get anything new that come out..

eventually I get those stuff, but I don't really wait eagerly for the new Nokia to come out or whatever

I have one and it's great!, but I don't wait in line for many things and this would not be one of those things.

is there some kind of new Ipod out?

The iPod mini is crazy hot and good, why wouldn't people want it? Especially considering it has been on the news since January, but not for sale outside the US until now.

Plus, whenever the initial supply runs out, customers might have to wait another month or whatever.

Wow, I assumed Japan got all the gizmos before we did. I wonder why they went the other way with it this time.

Wish I had an iPod. It would make the plane ride a lot easier.

The battery barely lasts 6-8 hours...

they had it, theres just such a demand its hard to get stock.
