My new apt/area and its whores. (long)
 

I moved into this new apt suite July 1st, in a different area than I am used to, half a block from the downtown university.

The day I move in, the local area crack addicted whores and drug bf's move into the house right across the street.
And since then, it is has been never ending action.
There must be 15 different hookers going in and out of there all the time.
And things get wilder around here at later at night.
Shit happens everyday/nite, just like stuff from that show COPS.

It may be not as bad as some areas of the world, but I am not used to this shit anymore.

Like today, some hooker freaks out at the dudes who live there.
She was yelling and screaming at them to give her the drugs she had bought.
2 dudes came out and started throwing punches and kicks at her.
And man, she threw them right back at these guys.
She was really pissed, she picked up a mountian bike and tried to throw it through the picture window of the house and she just didn't have the strenght to throw it hard enough to break the window.
Then she took off down the street.

Last nite the dudes were freakin out about something, ended up poundin on someone in thier front yard.

2 nights ago the 3 hookers & a dude were fighting at around 4:00 am
2 hookers were yelling at another hooker to give this guys wallet and money she had stolen back to him.
There was no way she was going to admit she did it.

So after a bit of screaming and yelling, fist flying
the cops show up and try to sort things out.
They end up getting the dudes wallet back from the hooker.

They then take him aside, and I can here everything crystal clear and I am on the third floor.
The tells the dude that he is crazy to even be in this area let alone fighting with hookers ( the dude looked to be around 23)
They tell hiiim he could get in lots of trouble around here.
The dude saay aren't you going to do anything to her
the cops tell him no they already know that she is "a crack pot whore"
THey told him that he could have been picked up by a lady cop dressed as a hooker then he would have been in big trouble.

I had to start laughing quite loud about then
and the cop looks up and I am sure he saw me looking out my window.
They then make the guy get in his car and leave then the cops leave and the hookers go back to strutin up and down the street.
fuckin action after action It never stops.

I am now waiting to see what tonights action holds.
Was thinking I should set up a webcam in the window some night and catch the action .. LOL

Well needless to say I am planning on moving agian very shortly.

Anyhow, I used to live in Venice Beach, CA, and add in 45 min. police response times and it all sounds familiar.

Oh I knew the area was bad but this block on this street was supposed to be fairly quite.
Untl the whores and gang banger bf's moved across the street.
Why couldn't they stay a few streets down like usual.

And yes I have a lease but it will be no problem breaking it.

Ya CD it is not much fun living here for sure.

I heard that the gangs around here are in the middle of a turf war.
But I am not sure how much I should worry.
It seems one gangbanger a few streets over shot himself in the foot during a raid by the cops.
Pretty funny stuff.
But still maybe its time to start carrying some kind of weapon.

Seriously tho thats some fucked up shit. I lived on a street like that in Louisville for 5 years. Crack addicts, whores, meth freaks, al that good stuff. We had a shed in the back yard that used to get broken into about once a week. Then I caught the fuckers in it one night about 3 am and pulled my 357 on em. They never bothered me again. :BangBang:

Coolio, I imagine the rent is pretty low in that area. You know, just across the river in St. B there's quite a few apartment blocks that are in the $350-$400 a month range, and the neighborhood is much more, well... tame, in comparisson. There's a block behind the Norwood hotel and down the street a little towards St. Mary's road, a nurse I used to know lived there years ago, they aren't too bad and the rent is in that range.

If I had an apartment available myself I'd offer it to you, but I don't. I probably won't have anything open until close to Christmas.

Didn't you get custody of your daughter last year? I assume you did not take her to this area :winkwink:

Yes I did get custody and yes she is living here with me.
I know its not the best plac to be, but the rent for this 2 bed room with den and eat in kitchen is only $400 a month
This way I can save cash for a down payment on another house..

I know CD I tried to find a place in St B but there was none ready at the time. And now I can only find 1 bedroom places.
Also If I could find a 2 bedroom for the same price I pay now then I would move to St B for sure.
Well I only forcasted 2 years to save enough for the down payment on a house, so I won't be living here for ever..lol

Where in the city are you dude? Sounds like Sergeant or Ellice or around there. But thats definitely crazy rent! I'm from winnipeg but live in toronto now. I pay $900 for rent and im living in the GHETTO. I wish I could pay $400 for a two bedroom. lol.

Toronto is insane! Montreal a nice 2 bedroom is about $900 these days, in a decent neighborhood

yeah. i'm thinking it's a very very bad idea. don't take their pictures. as long as you're in that kind of neighborhood, it's best to be as inconspicuous as possible and get the hell out fast.
