I have to agree with you, I have tried a few times, and things that could not possibly happen, happen, and people that should not be calling are, and they win, makes me wonder...

I swear on everything I own that it cheats.
I lost huge hands that I should of won and it never even showed in the log. This has happened twice and they play themselves of course so how hard is it to cheat? It's not for them it's fuckin butter and we are the toast. Anyways they are out of africa where the shadiest scams in the world start. |

I play 1 table sit-n-go 7 card stud hi/lo. top 3 makes money. 4th place gguy came back from $63 to my $1500 and after 4 bad hands in a row i was toast. I could not believe it. I'm gonna get some milk now:( |
you guys are paranoid.
You realise that you can see all the players cards who were in the hand for the showdown by clicking on the hand number in the upper right corner. Also, if you cant see the hand there, you can have them e-mail you the hand histories. I hate to say it but why would PP even think of cheating? They have 1500-3000 live tables each raking up to $3 a minute. It's in their best interest to be neutral and fair. If youre really that convinced that PP is trying to screw you, go play at Fulltiltpoker.com It's run by a bunch of pros: Lederer, Lingren, Ivey, Gorden, Ferguson, Seidel, Bloch. Software is decent and they are giving 10% rake back until the end of august. |

He ended up $31,000 ahead on party poker in 2 months. Was shooting for 60k though. I know several others that have massive bankrolls they built on the party poker fishies. ;) |

(100% fictional.) So I'm playing a 6 handed NL game with .50 / 1.00 blinds and a stack of $11.00. I'm on the button and get dealt 5d 6d. The entire table calls including me. SB raises it to $15 and is all in. As soon as he raises he types in the chat "I have Ah Kc". From past experience I know for a fact that he never lies. It folds around the table to me and I quickly call all in for my remaining $10 creating a main pot of $26.00. What do you think of my call? As you can imagine the thread blew up. ;) |
Well I think the reason that party poker appears to be cheating you is that the rake is much more vicious than it appears to be. At low levels the rake is almost 10%. This means that you basically have to play flawlessly at all times. And your opponents have to be at least 10% worse than you. Since its online a lot of opponents will be using starting hand charts and probability guides for calling. So your math will have to be good. The bigger the pot is the more mathematically correct it will be to call and bullshit you on the river. If you are using general guidelines and not mathematical precision don't expect to win. If you assume that you are 10% better on average than all your opponents at a 1/2 table where the rake probably is about 7% average this means that you will have a 3% profit margin. Any mistakes at all and you will quickly lose money......
