Dr Pepper is great, almost as good as Cherry Coke. Unfortunately, the diet version tastes like dog ass.

Why drink the diet one??

I never get that.

Take one sip more than you normally do and you get the same amount of garbage in your body than a normal glass of coke.

Same with chips, eat a handfull more than you normally would and its the same as normal non diet chips.

Plus people who eat and drink diet stuff always tend to eat/drink more because they think its not as bad. In the end its worse than normal food.

unfortunately it never took off here in australia after the released it in the mid 90's and now it's rare as hens teeth to find it :(

Actually, with soft drinks that's not true. A can of normal Dr Pepper, for instance, contains 40 grams of sugar, while a can of Diet Dr Pepper contains 0 grams of sugar.
To get the same amount of calories from Diet Dr Pepper as you get from a single can of normal Dr Pepper you'd have to drink literally hundreds of liters.

i haven't had a dr. pepper in at least 15 years. i can barely remember what it tastes like.

Most diet soft drinks replace all sugar with artificial sweeteners. Might be hell for your skin and even give you cancer, but it won't make you fat :winkwink:

Actaully of all the diet drinks out there, I like diet dr. pepper the best.

I prefer water to any diet drinks though.

The problem with Coca Cola these days is either they have no quality control or the packaging they use now allows for rapid deterioration of the soda. I can buy 2 2-liters in the store with different dates and one will invariably be flatter and sweeter than the other. Also, notice Coke "sell by" dates are only a couple of months away? Before they ever started "tweaking" the formula you could open a Coke that had been around for ages and it would always be OK.
