opeing a very large .txt document

any good programs for opening a very large .txt document? I'm talking about a gig in size.. That or anyone know of a program that can break it up into smaller files?

Upgrade your RAM... I have no problem opening a text file with over 3 million lines.

well I had a gig of ram in my system untill my power Supply took the shaft and fried everything in my system. So I'm only running on 512 right now.
