Apache Analytics
I'm looking for a good apache log analyzer to replace what I use now (webalizer). I'd prefer not to go with anything done in perl (awstats) or anything that will cost me an arm and a leg (urchin).
Anyone use anything that gives good statistical data? All suggestions welcome. Cheers =RS= |
FreeBSD, RedHat, ........ ?

Good spot UltraSonic!!
Should work on Linux (slackware is what I use). Thanks =RS= |

try www.wusage.com

FiReC, thanks for the suggestion mate.
However, I'm looking to upgrade my stats package and wusage doesn't look like much of an upgrade; I'd be just aswell sticking to webalizer. =RS= |
What is wrong with awstats?
|
What's wrong with Awstats? You have a real shitload of tracci to analyze?
|
nothing wrong with awstats at all! I think it's a decent log analyzer .... but I'm averse to leaving something, that could eventually turn out to be a large task, to a perl script. At this stage, I'd much rather use something written in C
I've had a look at awstats and it seems quite good and delivers quite a bit of statistical information; something I'm missing in Webalizer. Any other suggestions? =RS= |
I don't know anything about awstats, but this type of task is what perl was originally intended for, so perl may be your best bet
