The Butterfly Effect - Movie Review by me...Juicy
:thumbsup :thumbsup
Nice movie worth renting it on DVD |
Yeah, I really enjoyed it... and the DVD is great, mostly for seeing both endings.
|
Which version did you watch?
Theater or Director's Cut? |
I downloaded the Director's Cut and loved it !:)
A lot better than I thought it was going to be. Would have enjoyed it more if only my roommates would have shut up about how hot Ashton is. :ak47: |
I thought it was pretty good too, the
reviews sucked, but it had a lot of jumpy parts :thumbsup that one dude was a sick F |
That movie sucked ass!
I first thought he was a nutcase and lived the psych hospital. To cope with living there I thought he went back in time in his own head to make everything right again (at least in his own head). So when the movie was over I thought it was excellent. But then I read that he actually could travel back in time to make things "right". Then it was just a fucking horrible movie. |

yeah - theres 2 endings
|
Good I will rent it now...
I had a real issue with renting a movie that starred "Kelso" in it. Dont get me wrong though "Kelso" is da man...but I just didnt know if he could pull it off being serious and all and didnt want to waste precious time watching a lame flick. Nothing pisses me off more than when I rent a lame movie :thumbsup |
I like this movies also!
I was very interesting and impressive! :thumbsup |
the director's cut was much better
I liked the movie alot |

I saw the director's cut. It was an okay movie.
I got the feeling that things were better off if he never lived. the no arms one was cool. |
Definately a good movie. :thumbsup
|
got it for my BDay last week, but have not watched it yet. might have to see it this weekend
|
good movie for stoners?
|
are the two different version just diferent movies in general or just diff endings?
|
Juicy... Just the last 10 minutes is different....
|
I saw the directors cut
what happened at the end of the theatrical version? |
I Loved The Movie :)
The Alternative Ending really sucked though!:( |

he watches the video, goes back in time, then basically tells the little girl to fuck off so she goes lives with her mom, and everything ends up being ok for everyone. |
thats a wild fucking movie. heard the extras on the dvd were well worth it as well.
|
I enjoyed the movie. Great entertainment and a a great example of the ripple effect or cause and effect. :)
|
I saw it last weekend. What happened in the end at the Dirctors version? I saw the theatrical one, when the girl lived with her mom and joined a sorority, and Ashton was never to be born...

I watched the last 1/4 of the movie. My daughter brought the DVD home from work and I caught the end of it. Can't wait to see the whole thing.
One good thing about her working part-time at blockbuster...free movies and you get all the new ones a week before they are released to the public. |
I watched this last night. Now I know where those kids got the idea to burn that cat we've heard so much about.
|
One of my favoites movies of 2004 so far.
I liked both versions, but preferred the Theaterical version a bit more I think Aston Kutcher did an admiralble job pullling off drama and I really liked Elden Henson as well and of course, you can never go wrong with Amy Smart... |
Saw the theatrical version, but not the director's cut. Any big difference?
|
I haven't seen it yet so that's good to know
|
:eek7 :eek7 :eek7
We watched the director's cut but no matter how you slice the ending, the entire movie was a stupid piece of shit. :2 cents: I may not have had such a harsh opinion if I hadn't heard EVERYBODY giving it rave reviews as though it's a fucking cinema classic when it's mediocre at best. I can't believe people think it redeems Ashton's total lack of talent. Blech. Now SPIDERMAN 2 . . . THERE'S an entertaining movie worth watching!! The opening credits alone were enough to knock my socks off. :thumbsup |

Sorry if someone read the spoiler, you should know better... :glugglug |

I'm devastated. Favorites of 2004 so far? It's no Showgirls! |
The version where he kills himself in his mothers belly. What version is that?

other than the ending, theres no difference? I rented it the other day and decided towatch the directors cut since i already saw the theater version, but stopped it a little after they blow up the mailbox
|
We rented that on DVD last night, both enjoyed the experience quite a bit. As good as we expected from the previews and that rarely happens for us much anymore.
