eggs in top ramen
=YUM.
I was skeptical at first, but it is good :thumbsup
what's that??
Yep... same with the Lipton soup too... The chicken noodle in the packages.... DAMN good stuff :thumbsup
What the fuck is that?
It sounds scary... but then again eggs scare me regardless.
Ramen is good though, mmm. |
Good stuff, my wife makes that all the time for like a late night snack after banging one out.

MANDATORY>.. I learned that living in Japan..
When cooking your Ramen you HAVE to put in and egg and stir that bitch up.. Gives it broth and just makes the Ramen 10x better :) |
best with chopsticks :thumbsup

I got through my university days on those noodles! WG |
Why do you eat that crap. That's dorm food. Damn.
you also can put in a little bit of frozen veggies as well.
If you have leftover meat such as pork, chicken or beef you can put pieces of that in as well. Of if you have any noodles left over drain the broth and pan fry the noodles with meat and veggies to make a stir fry |
throw in some spices and its so fucking good

Putting an egg in the ramen (ichiban, Canadians call it) makes it about 3 times as filling. Edit: Darn cheap meal too; that's why it IS dorm food :1orglaugh |
I like to cook the ramen down sometimes, like a reduction, so the broth becomes like a sauce. It takes a long time to cool down to an edible temp. , but I think it rocks.
They're on special at SavOn right now: 12 for 98c. no kidding.
I used to love them in the dorm days but must admit it's been a while! LOL... Glad to see people are putting stuff in them, otherwise it's basically just carbs and sodium isn't it? :winkwink: Love the scallions idea. That kinda started a craving! damn... where's the nearest SavOn?! |
My girl is viet and tought me that one too.. She can make ramen into a kickass meal by adding a bunch of spices, eggs, onions and whatever else she finds around the kitchen.. Shocked the hell outta me. As a white boy I always ate it boring, now I know the secret to it.
That is the ONLY way to eat ramen. I like to throw in some chopped green onions into the mix too. Adds a nice touch and color. It also doesn't seem like you're eating 100% MSG. :)
only problem is the older I get the more the sodium in it just kicks my ass.... horrible stomach cramps and the major aztec trots
does it work if you just eat your ramen raw?
I just had that for lunch today. :) Yum! Drop the egg in before the noodles and break up the yolk, then return to boil, then add the noodles. Yummy egg drop soup!
I'll pass
I learned to make it that way while living in south korea. Its also good with a slice of kraft american cheese and some kimchi thrown in.

12 packets for 98 cents? wowee. Nice deal. Never tried the egg thingy.. I dont care for the taste of plain eggs, but sounds interesting.
Damn, I didn't know that there were so many things that people put in there. I thought an egg was weird enough when I first heard about it.
I think I just may be eating a 12 cent dinner tonight :) |
its great, i really love eating ramen with an egg, but some people preffered to crack the egg when ramen is off the fire . . . ewwww looks like a sperm in ramen . . . .
