Bad Luck: Round 2
Well, the bad luck bug has struck again. My man was stopped at a stop light (you know those big bright red shiny things?) when this guy in a minivan plowed into the back of the car. Since the guy only spoke Chinese, his wife acted as translator and tried to offer to cut a cheque right there. Good thing the cops stepped in and told my guy to go to the doctor within 24 hours to get a checkup done and to go through ICBC, since there might be injuary involved. Funny how getting hit at 40 km/h does that to a person, hm?
My rear bumper is still out on Highway 10 somewhere. The trunk closes, but it's crinkled a bit and doesn't sit flush. At least the car still runs. The kicker? I just spent 2 hours on the weekend cleaning the car to a spic and span shine. Now it has slurpee splattered all over the front seats and dash, and, well, some parts are missing. *sigh* His neck is already killing him. I hope it's not serious. Ugh. K, I'm done venting now. |

I don't know how much it was. It wasn't good, though. Better to go to a doctor first. I would rather let ICBC handle this one for us. You know, I knew this car was a bad luck car when it got stolen 30 days after I bought it. |

Well he just got back from the doctor, and there's no big damage. He just has to stretch a lot. Thank goodness. Now if only we could give the car a few stretches...
