AAI Convention - lets talk about this weekend!
 

Hey All,

As you all know the AAI convention is on this weekend!!

I'm flying up from canberra friday morning, this is my first convention and the first time i'll be meeting any fellow adult webmasters in real life. I've been in the business for 2 years, things have only started to rock in the past year or so.

I've only done business with a few aussie webmasters in the past and tend be pretty quiet on the boards - so while i know of many of the folks going, none of them know me!

Looking forward to meeting as many of you as I possibly can.

Now, what is everyone doing on Friday night(prince albert bar?)? I hear you guys know how to party :Graucho

Would love to hear some experiences from last year - do people mainly stay around jupiters/convention center? or hit the local clubs? I'm pretty new to the gold coast too, any tips from other convention goers would be awesome!

I'll be checking this thread regularly, keen to hear from anyone as i don't really know anybody yet!

I wont be able to make it this time.

January was dope! Had the conference... heard alot of opinions, ways of attacking things. Went back to hotel that night... got ready for dinner and then metup and mingled with everyone.

Went out with My Yellow, took us to strip club and got us a round of lap dances... fun times... I was smashed.

You'll have fun if you mingle with the right people. It's not big like the USA shows but the smaller amount of people make it an intimate knowledge pool.
