complete and utter bullshit. These people often get sentenced to take classes etc. Personally, I think there should be a mandatory sentence of at least 20 years.

My friend was raped in college, and the guy who was a repeat offender got 6 months.

In my opinion, rape and child molestation is worse than murder. They should have their genitals and hands cut off.

This is what sucks. Im sorry to hear about your friend. Here is what sucks. If I went on date with a girl and did not rape her but she claimed I did (think Kobe Case) I know they would lock me up for a long time. But for the people who really do the crime and really do rape, molest, diddle a little girl, whatever seem to walk away un touched. Maybe like you said with minimal time spent and community service or whatever. I think the SYSTEM is all out of whack.

rape is the gray area for sure. I am talking about girls being dragged into an alley. Not the his word against hers type of scenario.

I always thought child molestation carried heavy heavy charges? And statutory rape (consentional sex with a minor) was heavy as well? And that's not even real rape. Some 18 yr olds get years, just for fucking a 16 yr old. So I figured, if a chick is 'really' raped, as in forced, the penalty would be moreso? I'm confused.
