VHS Duplication??
 

Hello I'm looking for a something to make copies of VHS tapes faster then just linking two VCR's togeather. I know there has to be equipment like this but have no idea where to get it and what to expect to pay.

My guess is that you don't live in LA.

Here in LA, a dupe house (pronounced "doop") is like a gas station in the rest of the country. They're on every corner, and they cost about the same. buck and a half per gallon, buck and a half per copy.

You should be able to find a place in MI, (look in your yellow pages) if not, let me know, and I'll post some address for place here in LA.

The minimum bulk we ever did was 12. It costs more to do less than that. I guess it's just a way for them to make it worth their time.

Yeah, it's called 7 machines daisy chained together driven by a digiatal camcorder.

Don't remember the brand name but we looked at some that started with 5 slots and went to 7 and then the large was 12 I think. They high speed duped. Back then the price was really high tho. They were dropping fast on the last check a few yrs ago.

Also GO makes 2 slot machines for 400 and up that will high speed copy. We have one just for normal use and its great!
