What the feck is wrong with these submit programs.
 

First out of the blue advanced submitter stops working, after months of using it is just goes kaput without me touching anything. Then i pick up chamelon submitter and i install it and it doesnt work either.
I pops up this box that says 'database error. Please check MDAC installation. www.microsoft.com/download"

Whatever MDAC is i installed it from the MS site but that didnt help, still the same error. Something tells me both submission programs have the same problem with something, anybody any idea? Its pissing me off.

The problem about AdvancedSubmitter is that you have to pay a yearly fee for it :winkwink: Same for chameleon probably. If you have done that though, something is fucked up with your computer...

I had the same thing a while ago on WinXP. I reinstalled database engines (MDAC i think), restarted and it seemed to work fine again, still does.

Well i just installed it and rebooted. Didnt make a difference.

Maybe try to reinstall avd subm. after you reinstalled database engines and import your reg key and database.

I just talked to their support and they also told me to install that mdac thing but it doesnt work still.

Its something thats wrong on my machine. Anybody any clue? Submitting from my laptop sucks.

Maybe try this:

Totally delete your submit prgs from your pc (dackup your database and reg key)
Reinstall mdac
Reinstall your submition soft
Import your reg key and database

Already did that.

Then i have no clue other then to dial 1-800-MICROSOFT. Sorry man, can't help ya.

It seems that you have problems with your Windows. I didn't need to install MDAC to run Chameleon on my Win XP . Win XP already has MDAC installed, check sme servece pack/ updates for XP, or reinstall the win ;)

Why do you think 20+ of the biggest webmaster programs out there trust us to do submissions for their affiliates? And do you really think they would pay us to facilitate free submissions for their affiliates if it didn't work?

Oh sorry. Just noticed your high post count. My bad. It just dawned on me that all you do is post your stupidity on chatboards and probably have no idea to make a living in this business.

I could venture into a discussion with you on why there are no limitations if you use the paid version but ofcourse, with your limited brain capacity you would never be able to comprehend what I'd be saying. And I doubt the few cents you're making, would ever put you in a position to pay the modest fee we charge for premium submissions.

Nor would you ever appreciate that the reason there's no "customization" as you so ignorantly put it, is that there's absolutely nothing to customize. Someone else are making sure everything is to the point and as accurate as 3-4 hourly verifications can get it. We have a simple set-up process. Takes 3-4 minutes max. From there it's a no-brainer. Even you should be able to figure it out, as doubtful as it may seem.

On second thought, why don't you just run back to your momma and come back and play with the rest of us when you grow up?

My god, that one was a good laugh. You know what the problem is with those submit programs? They run off of your own PC. Guess wich one is all server-based..

No need to pay yearly for it, only if you want new databases...once you have a good databse built up by yourself, there is no need to ever pay again.

So "someone else" also adds my 70 partner accounts? Nice feature you got there. And you say i cant afford your modest fee's...did you miss the part where i said i already paid for 2 other programs??

Anyway, im just annoyed that 2 programs i paid for dont work on my puter and instead of paying for a 3rd one i just want the other ones to work. I installed Chameleon on my laptop and it works fine there plus its a fucking great program. I simply dont need your program, im sure its all good and stuff. Good luck with it.

And i also like to create my own lists and categories, so yes theres enough to customize unlike Broda claims.

Think the problem could be a trojan changing some of your regestry keys -
Get a new box (That is clean and not been on line) and try bothprogrammes - They will almost certainly work.
I use both and have no problems with either - I am pretty sure your security is the main problem.

Fuck this guy is good, he's in the wrong business for sure, he should be a profiler for the fbi or something like that.

Its working fine on my laptop now and formatting my drive for this program to work is not something im gonna do now.

If it's anything like the trojan I had a few months ago - It would be wise to set up a new computer now - or very soon you may well find your hard drive totally screwed.
To be safe, make sure you are backing up everything before shutting down.

By the way - Broda is an ok guy - Think you two got off on the wrong foot!

You know your posts in this thread sound completely stupid, you lost any hope of getting me as a customer with how you handled this.

I didn't "handle" this in any particular way. I got called a piece of crap and I reacted to it. He's had a dislike for me since only the big guy knows when. No idea why. Can only take it he feels the same way you do. Just thankful that those who deal with me know it's about business. Not crap on a board.
