New Shelby GT500's For Sale!
 

I was just watching Ride's on TLC and they featured a shop in Texas that takes old Shelby Mustangs and turns them into almost the exact replica of the Shelby GT500 "Eleanor" that was in the movie "Gone in 60 Seconds".

Absolutely amazing, they take wrecked old mustangs and completely rip them apart and piece them together as new. I was totally blown away. I had heard GT500's were extremely tough to purchase as very few origionals were available on the market and if you could purchase one the price would floor you.

You can basically buy a brand spanking new Shelby GT500 from these guys with 475 Horses for $129,000. Or you can buy the Super Snake which clocks in at over 525 HP for $159,000. These cars come with new vin #'s and are registered with Shelby.

I don't know dude, it showed the new vin's being applied and the car is registered in the shelby registration system.

The cars they use are pretty much certifiable wrecks. The one 65 mustang they were working on was destroyed. Had ants all throughout the car and a rats nest in the glove compartment. They pretty much strip the entire car and just work with the frame/chasis.
