Yes, and as I recall everyone focused their hate on Ted, the guy who made the video and who was IN the video tossing the cat.

No one squawked off about wanting to kill the person who POSTED the video though.

Yes, there was such a collection, or at least a call for one. I'm not sure if anyone collected on the money though.

That video was posted on several sites, owned by various people. All anger was on Ted, not on anyone else, as it should be.

i also remember that Ted supposedly got halfway to the show and turned around to go back to his cat-flinging pad w/out ever showing at all. there were digital pic's of an empty "Throw-hosters" booth, priceless..

I think much hype was made out of it because nobody liked that guy. If it was someone that got their ass kissed alot, nobody would have said anything about it. I watched that video the other day and although dumb, that cat wasnt hurt at all.

And the people that posted it weren't making a joke out of it and profiting off it.
