how do you remember peoples names?
 

I meet so many ppl in person its hard for me to remember peoples names sometimes. what do you do to help you remember the people you meet when you are out and about?

write them on your hand.

make pics of them with your cell phone and write the names under :) + nr etc

If it's chicks i only remember the ones with big boobs :2 cents:

Call every guy "Steve" and every girl "Heather" and when corrected with the real name say....
"I know who you are _____, I was fucking with you!"

Absolutely, I was just telling what's his name that I can always remember people's names... like that time I met that actor guy who was in some movie I liked.

Wear your badges. Helps when you're drunk. Except when people start switching badges just to mess with your head. I remember I had KimmyKim's badge in Phoenix and Webgurl had mine. You should have seen me pitching epassporte :)

A good habit to devel;op is to repeat their name all the time in first minutes of conversation..

"You Know Jimmy blabla, blabla... What do you think Jimy?.. Well Jimmy, blablabla... Tell me Jimmy what do you think about.... bla blabla" And always look at the persons face (eyes)

So after a couple of minute your subconscious will remember the name and make the association with the image... So the nesxt time you should have less difficulty to remember..

For me to remember peoples names they need to leave an impression for me to remember, then I associate it with their name :)

I don't always worry about names, cause I'm bad with them but I try to get there gfy names and their programs and add a face to that and it's easier to remember.

Example most people know me as Silent Bob and I get a ton of people calling me Bob all the time. I don't mind cause that is what I go by and I've used the name for 4+ years but my actaul name is Matt.. Which would you remember first Silent Bob or Matt?
