WTF, Soon I will go on vacation.

I have a laptop, mobile phone, and an ORANGE contract. You can turn a service on, for a few euro per month, which enables GRPS.

I did that and asked if the free 3 MB also counts for foreign countries. She said yeah for you it is blabla, and she told me after that 15 euro per MB...So I though okay first burn 3MB with GRPS(faster the modem) and then I switch to dialing to dutch ISP for 0.95 euro per minute. I only want to check and reply some emails.

Today I called again, because auto grps was not working,and I had to change some settings, I said, well thanks, and asked again if the 3MB was free. He said, let me see, you are sir XXX, I said no ANDRE is me.

he. okay, I see mobile number 0628 belongs to andre indeed, let me find the free 3 mb rule. uhm NO free 3MB, and also service is more expensive sir

me: ok please cancel then, and don't charge me. Because you guys gve wrong info

he: Uhm, well you house number belongs to mobile number blabla and sir XXX

Me: never heard of people moving? I got this phone number for 1 year now! I can't help you don't update your info

he: Well sir, are you sure
me: jeez, I'm not the one who is ignorant here, please cancel, and also cancel my subscribtion please, I will look for another provider:

he: Sir that is not possible, because you still have 1,5 year to go

me: No, only 3 months,

he: no, because subscription ID is blabla
me: again that is NOT ME

he: whaha sorry
me: that is not that funny, but stupid, cancel me, and I want te be called back by your supervisor thnx,

he: okay sorry about this
me: You better should, bye

was that Orange? Strange they are the best customer service I ever had on the phone ( US ones exepted). Try Eneco or UPC, they suck big time and hire people on stupidity :feels-hot

The contract thing is right, companies over here are good in tricking customers, and there is no way of dealing with them the easy way...grrrr

Normally they rock, but two stupid ppl in 2 days doesn't make it good. I canceled, and over 3 months I will see what I do. I'm thinking of vodafone or KPN.

KPN Orange, de mobiele dochter van KPN in België, wordt dit voorjaar omgedoopt tot Base, zo schrijft het Financieele Dagblad op haar website. Op de domeinnaam Base.be is nu nog niets te vinden, maar de naam is wel eigendom van de Belgische divisie van KPN.

Officieel moet KPN Orange uiterlijk 1 oktober omgedoopt zijn. De naamsverandering is het gevolg van afspraken van France Telecom, waarvan KPN de helft van Orange Belgium heeft overgenomen. KPN bezat zelf al de andere helft van de aandelen, en werd dus de enige eigenaar. France Telecom gebruikt Orange als merknaam, waardoor bijvoorbeeld ook de naam Dutchtone binnenkort vervangen zal worden. Doordat France Telecom niets meer met KPN Orange te maken heeft moet KPN de naam veranderen.

KPN Orange heeft naar eigen zeggen rond de één miljoen klanten. Met 13 procent is men de kleinste van de drie Belgische mobiele operators.

I use Orange (UK) and they have been awesome, support has always been good.
But they are a french company which might explain it if you have been fucked around a bit ;)
