Fucking Customs...
 

Ordered a new camera weeks ago and waited for it to get sent... It got sent alright, but it's now been sitting at the fucking border for a week and a bit.

I phoned to find out what the fuck was going on, so now I have to haggle with some fucking customs brokerage... I swear I'm going to rip off someone's head and shit down their throats if they don't send me my fucking camera. I really really really really really really hate customs. Sigh.

Why did you buy in a foreign country?

It is cheaper, no doubt, but there are so many issues.

Customs, warranties, damaged delivery..

Yeah it was bought from the US... But I just got a call back from them and they are claiming that all freight packages coming in are experiencing above-normal delays.. Should I worry? :)

sorry to hear that LM:( I guess it's not just ppl that they aren't letting in...now they're afraid cameras will hi-jack planes!! lol

They claim it will be sorted out in 24-48 hours. At this rate I just want the damn thing this month!!

Buy your electronics from tigerdirect.ca -- it doesn't get any cheaper. For the rest, cross the border to the US and get a mail box at Mail Boxes etc. and order your stuff there.

Torture them.
