Unlike Iraq, Iran is an Islamic Theocracy. Their leadership really is a problem. They do breed violent fundamentalists. They do sponsor terrorism. They are opposed to the 'western way of life'. And there is no confusion about the fact that they are trying to build nukes.

That is why we supported Saddams secular regime. He was our guard dog, until Bush Sr fucked up that relationship.

However, there is a social revolution going on inside Iran. Many Iranians are adopting more western ideals. The live in a police state, and it's still dangerous to express it, but it's true. The clerics are losing influence. The country is slowly, naturally, changing from the inside and, if we exercise some patience, war shouldn't be necessary.
Infact, an invasion would probably be counter productive.
