Are there any commercial skip features on TIVO?
 

Im probably gonna buy a unit and upgrade the shit outa it, do I have to fast forward through commercials?

Anyway to skip em automatically, like some vcrs have?

ahh thanks, 30 second skip is good enough for me.

Now that is just fucking lazy. Is the Fast forward not fast enough for you?

It takes me all of 4 seconds to fasforward through majority of the commercials when I'm viewing tivo.

I don't know since I haven't bought it yet. But, wouldnt fast forwarding at a high rate of speed cause you to miss some of the program when the ocmmercial is over, and make you rewind a bit to get back to it?

I'd find that annoying.

(i kinda like the sounds that tivo makes - is that weird?)
Anyways I just know there are a ton of hacks out there,
most of them are for series one tivo's though, I think.
