My dog just had surgery.. (pics)

I have a 13 year old Lhasa Apso named Mikey. He's always been pretty healthy, but recently he developed 1 large cyst and 3 smaller ones on his head about a year ago. The vet said back then, that most older dogs get them, and it wasn't that huge of a deal. Over the past year, the one larger one got to the size of a softball, and finally they wanted to remove it. They did laser surger saturday, and he is all stiched up. You can see the cut on the back of his head, and get an idea just how big the fucking thing was. I feel really bad for him. He acts like he's in a hell of alot of pain, but I don't really know what I can do for him :(

Just give him lots of hugs and spend as much time with him as possible. You know he will return the love.

Seems like you have a fair vet, I just paid close to $350.00 for my cat's general checkup and teeth cleaning.

boobmaster 07-19-2004 08:31 PM

Your vet should give you something! We use to give our dogs a valum before we gave them baths. They felt no pain!
