You pay $25 per member. That's about 1:6 pay:ad ratio. Sorry man, been doing this too many years to know that's not possible to do across the board without scamming the shit out of many people. Sure, some peoples traffic may convert that well for a period, but what about those who don't? Do you kick them from the program?

John, I'd love to change your mind on that. What your saying may not be true of people who buy mailing lists. What we offer is a no credit card required free trial. The conversions on it are pretty awesome. I understand if you have too many of your own projects going on right now to devote any time to it- but in the future, it would be really cool if you could give it a test run to convince you we're not all wolves in sheeps clothing :winkwink:

Years ago, you guys, or an "affililate" used to spam the shit out of my site on a daily basis with links to eroticy. I wrote you guys about it many times and never got a response I considered appropriate. Thanks to that, I'll never be sending you a single click :)

It's all about retention, which maybe you don't know about :-)

$3 per email is possible, $4 per female and we only offer it to affiliates that send large volume.

If we only convert them at 1:15 that is $45 per signup. Which with even crappy retention is possible.

Once you figure out the retention and conversion and you'll be paying more per profile too.

But please don't say we are scamming the shit out of anyone because we don't do that and it's uncalled for.

If someone's traffic convert like shit, they usually know it and work out the appropriate rate. We've only had to do this once and it ws becuase it was mostly foreign traffic.

Epic Cash pays $0.50 per email and it has a very fresh database. They also accept joins from remote hosted boxes.

Adultplex pays $1 per email.

Free Ezine Bucks pays $1 per email.

Free Ticket Cash pays $1 per join and pays for multiple joins to different sites.

Also we pay our better affiliates up to $50 a signup. It's all about volume. So yes $3 or $4 per email is possible, just gotta think long term.

I just walked up to Eroticy at their booth in Vegas and told them their affiliates were spamming our site. They gave me a personal contact, but ever since just mentioning it in person the problem went away. It's hard to police affiliates when you have over 5000 or 10,000 of them. :2 cents:

You're right I know nothing about retention. I sale one time memberships and short ICQ :)

Anyway, didn't mean to sound like I meant you were scamming webmasters. I meant more of the scamming on the other end. The fake ads contacting members to get them to upgrade, leading them on for rebills, etc. It's very rampid in the dating industry (more so in the past 2 years).

We had to do some "restructuring" in management- but since the affiliate program has been my baby- almost 2 years- we cut all spam before the Can Spam came into effect and I've raised the payout structure twice.
I run a tight ship- I truly appologize for anything that happened 2+ years ago, but we did find out about it, and we did expell the weekest link. :thumbsup

The biggest problem we have is members from poor countries trying to scam our members. Russians and chinese are relentless. They will open an account and email every single member lol. We've put tons of checks in place now though.
