5 hours late icq message!!
 

this happened last night.. got 3 messages from different contacts 3 - 5 hours late :mad: ... any of you encountered this?

Yep. ICQ blows and no other IM program can seem to get everyone on the same page.

Someone tried an Adult Webmaster messenger, but I don't know ANYONE who's ever used it...or if it's still alive.

maybe thats why noone replys to my messeges, heh

it's not a good feeling if you're being ignored but this prob with icq makes it look like it... as much as possible, even when i'm really buisy with work. i make it a point to reply in every inquiry and message that i receive.. if this continue, i have no choice but to try trillian as an alternative.. :)

Everyone should use AIM - But adult webmasters are too stubborn and are trying this grassroots campaign to "keep it real, and keep it old school". Afterall, if your UIN is short, you're extreme. Man fuck ICQ, who cares how much you hate AOL. It's a better messaging system. :2 cents:

Icq has been funky for a while now... I remember back when it was more reliable.... :(

Yea ICQ has his good things, but also a of technical problems...

Pretty amazing in internet time how ICQ has run for free as long as it has.

That sucks. I had it happen once a few months ago and it caused major headaches. Some messages never arrrived at all! :(

Yup, ask for a refund! Oh wait, its a free service.

Ya never know with ICQ mine was playing up a while back but seems to working fine lately. Just the perils of the net unfortunately. I've also had various problems on other instant messengers so you just never know.

in my opinion, icq is still the general messenger for business transactions... it may have problems and keep on messing up but people still uses it.. i just hope that this current prob is just temporary. :)
