Free iPods ? Free iPods ? Free iPods

Here's a chance to get the pipin' hot mini iPod that's the size of a CC(or the regular iPod)-- This is NOT a scam as many people have already received an iPod from these guys (just do a google search for "free ipod").

Proof:
http://www.pink10.com/shipped.jpg

How to get it:

1.) Click here

2.) Signup for the Ancestry.com free-trial offer (they will not charge your CC unless you forget to cancel before the trial ends). Once you're done signing up, call them at 1-800-262-3787 and tell them you want to cancel your subscription. They will try to pressure you to stay on, but tell them to cancel. Do NOT signup for the AOL offers, they are a bitch to cancel.

3.) Verify your freeipods.com account by clicking on 'My Account' and find the link that says "Click here to have a verification email sent..."

4.) Pass these instructions to your friends (replace my ref id).

Cheers!

That's what I thought too, but I saw others get it from other forums (http://www.honda-tech.com/zerothread...ostid=10461269 and http://forums.overclockersclub.com/?showtopic=26863).

So I figured I do it, I got all my friends to do it, and now it's shipped. I'm still awaiting it, since it takes 4-6 weeks to ship the mini, and 1-2 weeks for the regular iPod.

(a) Users must refer at least 5 friends to the site who must sign up, and correctly complete an offer from the site under the Terms listed above.

(b) Users must also complete at least one offer themselves.

(c) A user may not get credit for completing more than one offer. Their referrals must each do 1 offer, totaling 6 offers to be completed (1 by the customer, and 5 offers done by a minimum of 5 referrals).

(d) Referrals completing more than 1 offer will only count as 1.

(e) Users may refer more than 5 friends to try and maximize likelihood of getting credit and minimize the time it takes, but cannot receive credit for more than 1 iPod.

(f) Users may only receive one iPod for their account.

(g) Users must be residents of the United States.

Btw, when you signup for freeipods.com, use a spam email address, but a legit one.

You will get pounded with spam.

... And you will need to get 5 other friends to complete an offer. Although it's not hard to do so if you signed up for the Ancestry offer.

Sounds a little to good to be true..! :)
lets hear from some more that have tried it out?

" 2.2 Cancellations. Initial Annual Subscription. An initial annual subscription comes with the option to cancel during the first 7 days and receive a full refund, unless the subscription began with a free trial period. (Also, no refund is available in the case of a gift subscription.) The 7 day period begins on the day you register for the subscription Service, which is also the day you are given access to the subscription area of the Service. If you subscribe to the Service following a free or other trial period, that trial period takes the place of the 7 day cancellation period, and once the paid subscription begins, no refund will be provided."

T/A from the ancestry option

So how is that still free in a trial gift membership?

Your credit card will NOT be charged during your free trial subscription.

If you are completely satisfied with your trial, do nothing and your subscription will automatically continue. Your card will be charged $189.95 for an annual subscription one (1) day after your 14-day free trial expires.

hmmm, AdultNext, not saying you're wrong, but what about this part?

"An initial annual subscription comes with
the option to cancel during the first 7 days
and receive a full refund, "unless the
subscription began with a free trial period.
(Also, no refund is available in the case of
a gift subscription.)
"

Also what is up w/ the 5 people thing?

This is by far a very smart scam, They have probably made close to millions off people. I've gotten this link from a few friends as well, it spreads really fast.
