I think it's about equal these days, actually. I mean, it used to be mostly men that cheated, but I guess women got tired of it and decided what's good for the gander is good for the goose.

Personally, I don't cheat. I've been cheated on plenty of times, but I move on. You know, I believe in the whole, "two wrongs don't make a right but three lefts do" thing.

Women probably cheat more these days because they got tired of men cheating and thinking it was okay. Plus, women are prone to cheat when they're miserable at home. Men seem to cheat "just because."

Cheating is just something that I personally can't bring myself to do. I don't like it when it's done to me, and I'm not going to do that to someone else. If I feel I need to "cheat" then it's time to just move on.

It depends on the women. Here's a little known fact, women who have men that beat them never cheat. I'm not saying a man should beat their women but I am saying that being too nice is the opposite end of the spectrum resultswise. Most men are somewhere in between so the chances of a woman cheating then fluctuates accordingly.

I base it on the fact that there is really no way to tell ..I should have put in my statement the words "i think".

you hit it right on....if you keep your woman happy in bed and treat her good at home they "usually" won't cheat on you...the biggest thing i see why women end up cheating on their partners is because the partners start to ignore them at home...once the home life isn't going the way they like it you better watch out....

and then there are the women that just "hoe it"....you wouldn't want one of those in your homes in the first place...

I guess it does depend on the woman. The one time I have ever cheated in my life was on an abusive guy. I was very young at the time and too scared to leave and I was looking for a way out. The guy I cheated with wasn't the way out, but I wised up and just left, anyway.

I personally prefer guys that are ultra, ultra sweet and kind. I have NO idea why so many women have a fascination with "bad boys". :(

Well, for one thing I base it on actually being out from behind the computer for a good portion of my life. I've had lots of friends, male and female, and I've seen it.

My opinion is that men cheat more then women.

I've never seen a public poll done- but I can tell you from working where I do and seeing millions of profiles made by people who are mostly looking for sex that most of the married members looking to cheat profiles are created by men. Most of the couples looking to swing are maintained by women. And most women members are single or divorced- not in a relationship.

It's not science- especially since more men statistically go on the internet looking for porn / sex - but I thought it was nice to share.:thumbsup

Also one other piece of useless information- genetics expects men to cheat. That's why women's "cycles" get in sync with other women they tend to hang around with alot- so one male can move between as many females as possible and have the optimum chance of pregnancy. If one group of women is on the rag, you just move on to the next one. I'm not saying it's right, I'm just saying that's how it is.
