Vaporizer or bong...
 

I am looking into getting a vaporizer. What do you prefer? A Vaporizer or a bong and why? I have never smoked from one but I hear they are great on the lungs. Is this untrue?

i've never used a vapouriser before... is the high the same as smoking it from a bong?

Yes it brakes the bong passing or joint passing tradition but much more heatlhy on the lungs since you inhalling vapor and not smoke.

vaps are crazy.. its a lot easier on the lungs, and nothing really burns your throat so you can take huge ass hits with no problem at all

vaporizers are probally a good idea as they would remove a lot of the cancer causing effects of inhaling smoke

For the most part...vaproizers are garbage. I've tried a bunch of them and there's only one worth buying...the Vapair.

I own the Vapair vaporizer from www.vapair.com and it kicks ass. Only thing is that if you are not a patient smoker then vaporizers are not for you, its about a 10-15 min process with heating it up and getting the effects.

I was going to try this out... really want to wait until I have something worth smoking out of it though, the quality I get now is bad

So does it actually burn the buds or does it extract the thc into the air somehow? I don't really get how they work.

What's your smoking in those devices, is perfectly legal, right?

I hate vaproizers becasue the high you get off them sucks. When I hit a vaporizor I just get a head high. When I hit a bong I get a much better relaxed body high.

Why not forget the vaporizers and bongs all together and have a nice cold glass of water and an apple! :)

It doesnt burn it, it heats them up, THC is heat activated

When I used to smoke I had a bong and a vapouriser. I found the vapouriser was healthier and got me more stoned but I guess habit and always smoking with my friends so often was what kept me using the bong!

Do the buds last longer or does the THC run out in the same amount of time as smoking? Plus, what are you left with? Just a pile of useless buds once the THC level is down?

I tried a vaporizer for the first time a couple weeks ago . . . . wasn't impressed . . . . too hard to tell when you have gotten a hit, and a pretty unsociable way of smoking it . . . takes too long for it to heat up too.

I will take a joint any day . . .yeah, I am old school

yah its not much of a tool to burn with friends, its more so for on your own... the THC intake % is much more when you burn with a vap. just takes time

bong if you're a true smoker. vaporizer if you're a poser and are into the latest gimmicks.

I sleep with a humidifier running, a lot of nights. Sometimes I run a vaporizer instead.

i have a collection of bongs, pipes, and papers... calling someone a poser for liking to smoke a different way then you is just fucking stupid.. and if you were a "true smoker" you would know damn well it doesnt matter how it gets into you... a high is a high.


keep in mind, i dont get why you bash vaps being they have a much higher THC intake level then bongs and blunts

Someone in another thread mentioned, that you are able to extract more thc with a vaporizer...
is that true?

(the logic is that some thc gets destroyed from extreme heat caused by burning)

I have never used a vaporizer.
